As we consider the future evolution of transport, it’s clear that drones and unmanned air vehicles will play an increasing role. Their ability to quickly cheaply and efficiently transport payloads in the last and middle mile are highly compelling;  so much so that their ubiquity will likely drive a re-architecting of hub and spoke delivery networks around their capabilities. 

• What role will infrastructure play in Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) at scale?  

• How do we ensure public and business confidence in their increasing presence in our airspace? 

• What dedicated infrastructure will they require? 

• How should they be integrated into airports and existing transport hubs to maximize efficiency?
