Steven Sheffield

Steven Sheffield, a licensed professional engineer, is a technical leader with over 20 years of success in the traffic/ITS, transportation engineering, technical sales/business development, and electronic tolling industry where he has been innovating creative traffic and tolling solutions for organizations through the use of emerging technologies throughout his career.  He has provided consulting engineering services, has been a customer of technology in the public sector, and most recently has been developing technology solutions and bringing them to the forefront of Smart Infrastructure through the emerging application of 3D perception and LiDAR at the intersection level.  An avid bicyclist and consummate collector of vintage Cannondales, Steven is passionate about preserving vulnerable road user safety. Steven serves on the Board of Directors for the Intelligent Transportation Society of Georgia and is a member of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America.  Steven is active with NEMA and NACTO, and serves as the Director of Business Development for Seoul Robotics, which is headquartered in Seoul, Korea.  Steven is based in Atlanta Georgia at the US headquarters of Seoul Robotics at Curiosity Lab, in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.  He has a wife, Katherine, son McGregor (a boy scout) and daughter Phoebe (a girl scout).
