Kristin Slanina

I am an innovative and visionary leader in the automotive, mobility and transportation arena. My career trajectory spans almost three decades driving strategic initiatives and developing and commercializing breakthrough solutions to address global mobility challenges. I have taken the learnings of personally driving an EV, observing 5 other teams race from NY to LA on the same route.

With an extensive powertrain engineering background and a two-plus decade career at Ford Motor Company, my primary focus is on increasing shareholder value, driving competitive advantage, and fostering product innovation. While at Ford, I architected the company’s overall vision for mobility and shaped the automaker’s strategic response to societal, environmental, and economic challenges.

At Chrysler, I spearheaded their greenhouse strategy, making significant strides in reducing fuel costs, and developed a long-range propulsion strategy to meet regulatory requirements and customer needs.

Tapping my entrepreneurial spirit, EY hired me to start up their automotive and transportation mobility practice. Following that success, I was hired by a multinational IT consulting firm as Chief Transformation Officer to build their Emerging Technology group from the ground up. Here, I forged new and highly profitable connections with significant value and exponential growth potential.

As Chief Innovation Officer at ParkMyFleet, I am creating the end-to-end EV business model ecosystem to accelerate the EV transition for fleets and municipalities.

A dedicated mentor, I am committed to supporting women and growing diversity in the automotive industry. I have mentored and coached hundreds of women throughout their career life cycle.

Recognized as an industry influencer, I was proud to be named by “Automotive News” as one of “60 Who are Steering Self Driving Vehicles.” Throughout my career, I have been interviewed and quoted by numerous world-leading media outlets, authored multiple blogs that were published in “Automotive News” and delivered many presentations at notable conferences.
