Gerard van der Hoeven

As Director of the iSHARE Foundation, Gerard is an expert in distributed identity and authorization models for data sharing, and thought leader in Data Spaces. As a regular speaker and now an authority in the domain, he works daily with all players in the domain and has an enormous network in the playing field.

His network extends from the Netherlands (TNO, BDI, TSL, Data Sharing Coalition, AI Coalition, BlockChain Coalition, TSE, TSI and many more), to International (International data spaces association, Gaia-X, Fenix, ALICE, i4Trust, Fiware, FEDeRATED, DTLF, EFTI, Mobility Data Space, Catena-X and many more).

Gerard holds an M.Sc. and BSc. degree from Rotterdam School of Management in Business Administration, B.Sc. Diploma in Technical Management and a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering of The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
