Brian Garrett

Brian is an ITS veteran, having spent the majority of his career bringing hardware/software solutions to the public sector.  Brian leads the Smart Infrastructure ITS sales division whose focus is improving safety and efficiency on roadways across North America, using Lidar.  Ouster’s flagship software, Bluecity, provides accurate detection as well as turnkey traffic and pedestrian analytics to the communities where it’s installed.

Brian’s passion for technology and traffic safety has allowed him to contribute to many important transportation related projects over the years including the Bay Area Clipper Card integrated platform, LA Metro’s integrated passenger information systems, and numerous federally funded SS4A, SMART, & Vision Zero focused technology implementations.
